We have a couple of new members in our group and I hope you will take the time to introduce yourselves and say hi/welcome. They both did a introduction of themselves in the "Welcome". Miss Ashley, sunshyne86, joined us July 14 and Miss Chrissy, clowry02, joined us July 19th :) Welcome to you both ladies! Glad to have you both!
We have a CAL going on right now. It is a part 2 of a yarn swap. The CAL is open to everybody though even if you were not able to participate in the yarn swap. We are still on week one of this CAL so there is still time to join in! It's really never too late though :) If you are just joining us for this, please see Materials and Cal Schedule. Then continue to Week 1 for pattern instructions. We will post pictures of our finished weekly assignment and then of course of the finished product. At the end of the CAL I will give the link to the site of which I found the pattern so that everybody who finished this CAL will write a small review and post a pic there. But to keep you spectators updated, here are a couple of pics of this weeks part:

The May through July challenge is coming to a close and so far, it looks like only Miss Dee has worked on done this one. Although, Miss Jenny looked interested in doing this one. More to come on this! Lol. But ladies there is still time...not much but some. So check out the May through July Challenge!!!
There have been quite a few patterns posted this week. There was Tortoise with a Curly Tail, Another Pillow Pet, Big, Bear-y Huggable Pillow, Molly, and Polar Baby Blanket and Matching Hat just to name a few. Looking for a new project or pattern? Be sure to check out the Patterns, Patterns, and More Patterns, Links and Sites Forum often. We try to add to it daily.
The July RWB swap is coming close to an end. So far looks like only one person got their swap. So hurry and get those out! July is almost over. If you are going to be late, please be sure to let your partner and the group owner (Patty, PattyinNV) or any of the admins know.
One last thing before I wrap this post up. I wanted to try something out here. In the group I posted a picture of a pillow owl...well actually here it is:

Okay ladies. I need feedback. What do you want to see in this blog? What did you think of this blog post? Was it missing anything? Hit that comment button below and let me know!

I have tried three times now to post a comment, ugh! Let's hope the fourth time is the charm, since the third one sure isn't. hehe
ReplyDeleteAnyways, I wanted to say what a great job you're doing on this blog and I'm sure all of you agree. Keep em coming! =-]
Also ladies everyone can post patterns, the more the merrier. And as Sam said for the CAL, anyone can do that do that too, just post a pic when you're done.
The owl, make it your own project sounds like alot of fun. I myself don't have a great 'make it as you go' mind, so not so sure if I'll be doing this. Can't wait to see what ya all come up with, 'specially Jenny & Sam, you two seem to have the good genes to make stuff up not using a pattern. I can make a blanket w/o one. hehehe
Well that's it from me. Have a great Friday and even greater wk end!
